One way is to walk to top of rathmines road, tunr left where it meets Highfield road at t junction, then immediate right and stay straight all the way as road veers around by dodder and up hill through Miltown to lights to c cross roads of Sandford and Ellington road. Straight through these lights to end of eglinton. At t junction turn right onto main dual carriageway. Stay on this all way to left turn down mt merrion ave. That's it.

    Or

Any bus to town and any dart from Tara St.

Walk to Upper Leeson Street (or take the 18) and then 46a to Dub Laoghaire.

Use www.a-b.ie (the national journey planner) to plan a journey.

The 46a does not serve Blackrock.

By bus, Take a 15/a or 65/b to Terenure and switch to the 17 to Blackrock.
Or take any bus to Dawson Street and then take the 4, 7 or 8 to Blackrock.

Indeed it doesn't - misread the post!!

    OP - use www.a-b.ie.

Do as per KD345 suggests, or as a third option, 18 to Ballsbridge and 4, 7 or 8 to Blackrock.
