Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not sure if people have heard bout this movie with some current serving SEALS taking part but its been released this side of the water on March 23rd. There has been some very good reviews of it and I'm personally looking forward to seeing it.

Actually looks pretty good. I saw the trailer on youtube and they mentioned that quite a lot of the film is based on accounts of actual contacts and ops from SEALS.

Some reviews are pretty bad too.

I read a review of it by an ex-SEAL, who not only listed, but explained what he liked, and what he didn't like about the movie and why. I thought his points came across well (in so far as they struck me as reasonable; I'll have to take his word for some of it ... ) and he argued that if they were to make a 100% accurate movie it'd be a great documentary but tank at the box-office because audiences would be bored to tears with the tedium factor, with maybe a few moments of absolute adrenaline mixed in should they feel the ability to sit that long.

I'll see if I can't dig that review back up and post a link to it, but it was a couple of weeks ago now so I fear I may be p*ssing into the wind trying to find it.

From others I know who have seen it, the gist seems to be that it's better than the trailers indicate.
