BBQ Grate Pulley Raising System

Hi all,

I'm designing my own Argentinian Parilla style barbecue but I'm having difficulty finding the parts required to build a pulley system to raise the grate up and down and adjust temperature.

Does anyone know where I can find either the individual components or a system specific for this operation.

What I did was use a car jack to raise /lower the fire, use a cordless on a lengthened bar

I fell under the spell of this kind of BARBECUE.

I wish to make a barbecue of this type and I would have liked having information on the grid.

You make or buy the grid?.

Nope not as yet. Havent been able to find that type of grate.
