Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

2 Billion a year from Android. Nokia had 500 million profit last year, from a loss of €795 million in 2012.

It wouldn't take much of a kick to drive Windows Phone out of the Market.

for €149 you can get the Moto G which is 100 times better than this attempt by Nokia
The Moto G is an anomaly with regard to specs and value for money. With Motorola being subsumed by Lenovo, we won't see the like of it again.

Also, this phone is going to be sold for €89 - its main aim is to compete with the bottom-end Android phones, which are woeful.

but anyone can install Viber - its free and seems to be available on any device already
Whats the advantage of having it pre installed
No advantage to having it pre installed. The point I was making is it is available which is a good sign that app makers will support the X series even though is not stock android
What price is this phone going to be?

109 euro the the XL version. So 40 euro cheaper for a bigger phone 5"
Granted it has a modified version of Android but for many who only use the basics eg Facebook, email, viber etc it is a perfect phone fir a cheap price

It's a case of too little, too late to be honest. Nokia had a good chance with Android pre-WP, I don't think they're going to be creating any splashes now though. Stick with the Lumia.

The UI is a hideous concoction but it's early days. Why they're locking down apps is just strange, they're only hurting themselves.

If Nokia put their dignity to the side and taken on Android way back as opposed to WP, they'd be doing an awful lot better now in terms of business. I respect their commitment to an aesthetic, but it's kind of missing the mark.

Wonder will HTC have a problem with Nokia calling their phones X and X+?
