Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

am doing a foundation certificate in the evenings at the moment while also on jsa. i have applications in for several temporary jobs but i understand that this might cancel out any entitlement to getting a back to education allowance. i did have an interview with an officer in december who encouraged me to go the education route but i suppose the question im really asking is, if i was to get an 8 week contract with the civil service in the summer for example, would the social welfare department examine my case individually as they appear to be encouraging college courses, or would it completely rule me out?

if your not in receipt of a SW payment or doing a FAS scheme/CE scheme immediately before commencement of course you will not get BTEA unless proposed changes mooted in the press include a change in that condition.

Although if you are in receipt of the payment immediately prior to commencement, any time spent on a qualifying payment over the past 5 years can be aggregated provided the periods are not separated by more than 52 weeks.
