Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey guys,
    Well, I'm a 19yo male and have never drove before. I am DYING to start driving!!
    I have started to save in the Credit Union. Gonna start saving 800 a month.
    I have booked my theory test for Saturday week. I have the CD and have been getting around 35-38 out of 40 questions right.
    I'm gonna keep studying it until the day of the exam.
    Anyways, I was thinking, what should I do? After I pass the theory test, should I buy a car and then get lessons? Or book the 12 lessons, do my full license and THEN buy a car? Would insurance be cheaper if I was a full licensed driver?
    I am really clueless when it comes to cars and stuff. I don't know what do to first other than do the theory test.

    Can anyone help me be smart and how to do it properly, but quickly? I'm aiming to be driving and have my own car by the end of this year. Also, I want to have my full license by the end of this year, start of next, is this possible?

    Help would be greatly appreciated!

    Yes (assuming you're not speaking of being put on someone elses insurance as a named driver)

    Personally, I'd book some lessons before going to the expense of purchasing a car, taxing it, insuring it etc. just to be sure and get a feel for things.
    Also, I want to have my full license by the end of this year, start of next, is this possible?

    Early next year, yes it is. End of this year? Probably not.
