With the 62nd pick in the NFL draft the Greenbay Packers select
There is no point trying to be too clever here. Needs matches value very nicely with Dawson at this point. His on field production is outstanding although his combine performance raised questions about both his athletic ability and his attitude.
NFL.com strengths and weaknesses
Strengths
Flexible, agile athlete with good lower-body build. Outstanding instincts. Sees what is happening on the field and senses what is about to happen. Always plays downhill, attacking line of scrimmage. Second-level ghost who is a nightmare for offensive linemen to engage. Instantly unlocks hips and bursts to chase outside. Smooth lateral movement with ability to change direction and mirror running back into the hole. Gets skinny and slips blocks. When blocked, doesn't stay wired to blocks. Chases sideline to sideline. Excels in pass coverage, allowing just 35.7 percent of passes against him to be completed. Tough play demeanor. Plays hard and practices hard.
Weaknesses
Not a wrap-up tackler and needs work in finishing blocks. Freelances and sometimes lacks discipline to maintain assignments. Instincts of a middle linebacker but likely too small for the position. Has to win with speed over power as a blitzer. Scouts are very worried about his personal character and say he's not beloved within the program. Questions have been raised about his commitment to the process. Not a film studier.

With the 63rd pick in the NFL draft the Seattle Seahawks select
With the trade of Max Unger and the retirement of 26 year old Steve Schilling this is now a big need for the Hawks. Grasu is a very experienced player having started 52 games at centre for Oregon.
Strengths and weaknesses from NFL.com
Strengths
Takes on challenges up front. Willing to battle against bigger, stronger nose guards. Has big hands and is tough at the point of attack with good functional strength. Loves to play and is a willing worker, according to personnel men. Reestablishes hands into proper placement in pass pro if defender gets hands into his chest. Can pull and hit targets in space. Adjusts to mirror and engage linebackers on second level. Consistently gets to reach blocks.
Weaknesses
Doesn't utilize length effectively. Uses inconsistent hand placement. Handles power players pretty well at point of attack but tends to lose balance when engaging the same players on the move. Marginal acceleration around the corner when asked to pull. Not a leverage winner in short-yardage situations. Needs additional weight.0 -
With the 64th pick of the Boards mock draft, the New England Patriots select
Duke Johnson, RB, Miami.
The Patriots have lost a few players in this position over the off season and its an area that will need to be addressed early on. Johnson will contribute immediately in both the running and passing games. While he is not considered a dominant between the tackles runner, he does have the quickness to make defenders miss in the open field and the long speed to create big plays and make defenders miss. He also seems to be a very tough and courageous RB. His explosive quickness and elusiveness should help him adapt quickly to the NFL. Him and Blount would be a superb 1-2.
The Patriots can now address the guard and defensive line positions, whilst also drafting depth at ILB and CB.0 -
With the 65th pick of the 2015 Boards Mock Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select:
Preston Smith - DE - Mississippi State
After going offense in the first two rounds with Winston and protection for him in the form of Ogbeuhi, the Buccaneers switch their focus to defense and select Preston Smith, DE out of Miss State.
After cutting Michael Johnson, the Buccaneers were extremely thin at the defensive end position and even with the acquisition of George Johnson from the Lions, they could still do with adding at least one more end in the draft.
Smith measures in at 6'5", 271 pounds which is an ideal size for the role he'll be asked to play in Lovie Smith's 4-3 defense. However, his measurements aren't all that's impressive about him. He's superb against the run (the first segment in the YouTube breakdown basically shows what he's all about in that aspect of his game). In addition, if you watch his tape, you'll notice that his swim move is very effective. A nice breakdown of him was posted by BuffaloBillsDraft.com who make the analogy of him being an "ambassador for a front 7", someone who will do the dirty work and free up opportunities for others to exploit as opposed to being the one to light up the stats board, but hey, you need those players on your team too!
My main worry (and I've seen it posted by a few others too) would be that he might actually be more suited to a 3-4 just causing havoc inside despite his size, but I'm going to take a chance on him at the top of the 3rd round.0 -

With the 66th pick of the 2015 Boards Mock Draft, the Tennessee Titans select:
Ronald Darby - CB - Florida State
The Titans hand in their card and take Ronald Darby out of Florida State.
Darby is an absolute rocket which is ideal for moving downfield with receivers and/or making up for any mis-steps that he suffers. He's extremely fluid and athletic. He has been getting better year upon year and has massive potential IMO.
A very interesting statistic is that despite having PJ Williams on the opposite side, teams preferred to target Williams and stay away from Darby as he was only targeted once every 5.6 attempts last season (per Dane Brugler) which says a lot.
My main worries with this pick would be that his size isn't ideal and that he seems to rely on his speed a little too much which will get punished more often in the pros.
Corner is not the biggest need in the world for the Titans, but I have an early 2nd round grade on Darby and wouldn't be at all surprised to see him go late in the first come draft night. The opportunity to take him at the top of the 3rd is just too much value for Tennessee to pass up here.0 -
With the 67th pick of the 2015 Boards Mock Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select:
Lorenzo Mauldin - Rusher - Louisville
I was surprised to see the Jaguars focus so heavily on offense thus far especially when they have put so many top picks into it their O the last couple of years and because they had a number of needs on the other side of the ball this season, so the Jaguars switch focus to the defense in the 3rd round, selecting Lorenzo Mauldin out of Louisville.
Mauldin is a 6'4", 240 pound rusher who made the transition to an OLB when the Cardinals switched up defense ahead of 2014. It was a move that really paid off for him in terms of production as he registered 51 tackles, 13 tackles for a loss and 6.5 sacks (per CBS). Maudlin has a very nice burst off the edge and a great motor which ensures he will just keep coming and coming at you all game long. He has sufficient coverage skills when needed, uses his length well in more ways than one as he managed to bat down a number of throws last year and projects as a 3 down player in the NFL.
Also, how could you not root for this guy? He was in and out of foster homes as a kid (16 to be precise!) as his mother and father have been in and out of jail all of his life. By all accounts this has lead to Maudlin having an unbelievable work ethic and desire to succeed and many scouts say he's definitely going to be a leader in a locker room, just another quality to add to the many he possess.
The Jaguars are more than happy to take him at this point in the draft.0 -
With the 69th pick in the NFL draft the Washington Redskins select - Daryll Williams - OT - OU
Williams is a beast of a man and will pair with Trent Williams to give the Skins a very good pair of bookends. Williams strength is in the run game. He may not work out at RT but projects very well to OG if needs be.

Strengths
Physical at the point of attack. Comes off snap with bad intentions and rolls hips under him to drive defender off the ball. Tough guy who leads by example on the field. Works to the whistle and enjoys the one-on-one run-game scraps. Competes as a pass blocker. Sees and reacts well to twists. Has power in his hands. Buries defenders on down blocks. Outstanding football character and overall work ethic.
Weaknesses
Below-average athleticism. Won't be much of a factor in getting back-side cut-off blocks against quick linebackers. Gets weight forward and will lose balance. Marginal lateral movement. Plodder. Shuffles and gallops to wide pass sets. Struggled against Baylor and rung up for three holding calls. Unable to smoothly change directions and redirect. Body control needs improvement.0 -
With the 70th pick in the NFL draft the New York Jets select: Lynden Trail - OLB - Norfolk State
Lynden Trail is a huge man standing at 6-7 and weighing in at 270 lbs with the frame to support alot more. He originally joined Florida and redshirted his freshman year and saw very little playing time year 2. He was only 220 when he joined the Gators so was part of the reason for his lack of playing time. Played on the same pop warner team as Teddy Bridgewater in his youth (at tight end) he was blocked from moving to another 1st divison school by Florida so made the decision to step down to Norfolk state. He absolutely dominated for them the last 3 years as his stats show.- 255 Tackles
- 41 TFL
- 19.5 Sacks
- 18 pass deflections
- 8 Forced fumbles
- 5 Fumble recoveries
- 4 Blocked kicks

Strengths
Long, athletic frame. Used as 3-4 OLB, but also spent time with hand in the dirt. Bender with ability to get low on short yardage and near goal line when on line of scrimmage. Drops smoothly into space when asked to zone up and has range to cover. Initial quickness off snap. Improved hand usage and overall technique as pass rusher during season. Accelerates to chase down runner in back-side pursuit. Just now grasping advantages of his length. Has bend and foot drive to control line of scrimmage vs. run with more coaching. Uses length well with 18 deflections over last three years. Has length and versatility to become imposing player with more experience, coaching and toughness. Was given reps as a tight end during the Thursday practice session at the Senior Bowl, and looked relatively comfortable as a pass catcher in the red zone.
Weaknesses
Still very raw. Former high school receiver -- can be too passive at times on the field. Doesn't play to his size. Stays wired to smaller, less-talented blockers for too long. Drag-down tackler with few punishing hits on tape. Will take wide angles to quarterback as a rusher. Relies on chopping right hand to defeat punch and must diversify pass-rushing portfolio. Tape fails to show a relentless play demeanor and majority of production comes from size and athleticism. Unskilled and inconsistent with hands and can get "beat up" by tackles because of it. Slow to diagnose and respond. Gets lost at times on field.0 -
With the 68th pick in the NFL draft the Oakland Raiders select: TJ Yeldon - RB - Alabama
The Raiders add TJ Yeldon to go with Latavius Murray for a solid one two punch. The more support that they can give David Carr the better he will be.
Strengths and weaknesses from NFL.com
Strengths
Has good size with room on his frame to add more bulk. Exceptional hips and foot quickness, using both to weave and dart through the trash between tackles. Quick, decisive reads on zone plays. Has ankle flexion to dip, one-cut and burst through second level and into the third. Creative runner showing innate feel for running lanes. Anticipates creases that are developing and makes himself skinny to squeeze through. Effortless lateral movement. Can make tacklers miss and change tackle angles in confined quarters. Above average out of backfield and after the catch. Productive when playing through pain.
Weaknesses
Upright runner in space, opening himself and the ball up to big hits. Pad level too high at point of collision. Mediocre power for size. Doesn't push the pile and won't run through many tackles. Pass protection lacking. Throws shoulder at pass rusher rather than squaring up and taking on with good posture. Tends to bounce and juke a little too long at the second level. Must improve ball security after fumbling 10 times over 576 career carries. Needs to improve willingness to keep play flowing play-side rather than over-thinking cutbacks.0 -

With the 71st pick in the NFL draft the Chicago Bears select.....
Donavan Smith, offensive tackle, Penn State
The Bears took a defensive end and a middle linebacker in rounds 1 and 2. Another outstanding need is a replacement for Brandon Marshall but there is depth in this draft and we can make an attempt in later rounds though I'm certainly not saying we'll find another Marshall who was taken in the 4th
Cornerback and safety are needs too but I don't see value in the 3rd
The Bears were 16th in sacks allowed with 39 in 2014. The run game was not so hot either and was 27th in rushing yards. I see 2015 as a return to more of a running game.
To upgrade the offensive line Kyle Long will move to right tackle and Smith the 6'6" 338lbs will play as right guard. With that size I see good things for the Bears pass protection and run game
STRENGTHS Plays with good functional strength. Plus leg strength and can drive defender off the spot. Uses adequate footwork in run game to go with powerful base. Has desired pad level and bend in pass protection and his initial sets are above average. Plays with good pace on play-side zone plays, which bodes well if he kicks inside
WEAKNESSES Athleticism lacking to play tackle. Struggles to change direction against pass rushers. Can recognize stunts but is very slow to react to them. Ability to recover when beaten is lacking. Poor hand usage in run and pass blocking. Plays with hands too low and a weak, ineffective punch in pass protection. Must improve as a block-finisher. Poor contact balance and overall strike effectiveness on second level.

With the 72nd pick in the NFL draft the St Louis Rams selectThe Rams don't have a lot of needs and have taken an offensive tackle and a center so far in the draft. Going by the rule that you can never have too many defensive backs the Rams take a physical cornerback at 6'0" 200lbs which follows the trend in the league for larger corners. Carter is known as an aggressive corner with 41 tackles in 2014 so he is good at run support. He does draw flags and will have to be coached in the league to temper his aggressive style of play. But he is not just a man coverage corner, being a player from Stanford he will be smart and has played a lot of zone coverage. I believe he will fit in well with Gregg Williams complicated defense.
Alex Carter, cornerback, Stanford
Carter has been drafted as a cornerback but he can be moved to free safety in the future also

With the 73rd pick in the NFL draft the Atlanta Falcons selectThe Falcons defensive line needs help and fast. Finished a pathetic 30th in the league in sacks with 22 in 2014 while the run defense needs help finishing 12th for rushing yards allowed? Know how you get far in the playoffs? You stop the run is a very important part of it.
Grady Jarrrett, Defensive Tackle, Clemson
The Falcons have taken a pass rusher and a running back so far and I am adding a defensive tackle. Grady Jarrett is not the biggest interior lineman you've ever seen, 6'1" 304lbs. He is super aggressive though and fancies himself as a nose tackle and I believe he can play both 3-4 and 4-3. A three time All-ACC player and was named co-defensive player of the year by his coaches his freshman year. He can rush the passer though the standard is so high in the pros but I can see him getting 2-3 sacks per season.
Jarrett will join the Falcons defensive line rotation, he can play all three downs if needed and will occupy blockers to help move the Falcons up from 30th for sacks

With the 74th Pick of the Boards.ie NFL Mock Draft, the New York Giants Select:
Derron Smith, Free Safety (FS) out of Fresno State.
The Giants look seriously light, in the secondary, especially at Free Safety leading into camp. With Smith they get a Safety that does all the basics right, and plays his heart out. At 5’10 he’s touted as being too small to make an impact on the NFL, but his footwork is impressive as is his tape covering receivers. Tight Ends will target him but he’s strong, and his instincts on the field make him a risk worth taking. Tyran Mathieu was also said to be too small, but outside of his injuries, he’s made some decent plays in the NFL. According the NFL.com scouting report, he had to carry an inconsistent Fresno State defence last year, leading to his stats dropping off a bit. He also played through some of the season with a Sports Hernia, showing some serious commitment. Surrounded by other NFL calibre players could see Smith shine.0 -
With the 75th Pick of the Boards.ie NFL Mock Draft, the New Orleans Saints Select:

Was tempted by taking a QB like Hundley here to learn behind Drew Brees for a couple of years, but I’m not convinced by any QB after Mariotta and Winston. The Saints got rid of their star TE, in Jimmy Graham over the offseason, and as yet haven’t replaced him with any great effect. While the they have Orson Charles and Ben Watson, neither strike me as a great number 1 TE for 2015. Devin Funchess has the tools to be a great Tight End, if he puts in the work. His combine was a real let down, and it seemed that he hadn’t prepared for it like he should have. His Pro Day numbers told a different story and was more in line of what was expected of him with a 4.47 and 4.53 to make up for the 4.70 ran in the combine. Funchess has played both at Tight End and Receiver for Michigan. He’s a big bodied guy and runs his routes really well, which is a big plus when you have Brees on the other end of the ball. He does drop a few balls, and plays a bit slow, but with good coaching, I think he could be a hit with the Saints.0 -
With the 76th Pick of the Boards.ie NFL Mock Draft, the Minnesota Vikings Select:
Mitch Morse, Guard (OG) out of Missouri.
The Vikings struggled on the O-Line last year with the 27th Ranked Pass Rush defence in the league. Charlie Johnson was released after a poor year, leaving 5th round pick from last year David Yankey and Joe Berger to fight it out for Right Guard. Neither is a good enough option, and I think Mitch Morse gives the Vikings a stronger looking line day one. At 6’5 and 305lbs he’s a nice size for a Guard, he’s smart and hard hitting. He has good technique and has decent speed for blocking downfield, or if he’s pulled out. His short arms are a worry as is his weakness after the initial hit, but he plays smart and keeps his QB safe. Teddy Bridgewater would be happy to see this guy’s name being called in the 3rd.0 -

With the 80th pick of the NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select..
Steven Nelson, Cornerback, Oregon State
The Chiefs have a major need at ILB but can't take anyone at this position that's left on the board without it being a reach. They'll be able to pick up someone in the last few rounds. They also need some help at cornerback though and especially in the slot so Nelson should fit well here. He's small at 5'10 but quick and tough which are prerequisites for the role. I'd considered Ifo Ekpre-Olomu from Oregon here but he had a serious injury before the National Championship Game so you're taking a bigger gamble.

With the 81st pick of the NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills select...
Arie Kouandjio, Guard, Alabama.
The Bills could do with finding a QB somewhere but there's no one outside those at the top that are going to improve them right now without a lot of work and time spent learning. Instead they need to give their run game a chance of succeeding with improvements between the tackles and Kouandjio will give the Bills added stability at the guard position. There's also the fact he'll be playing alongside his brother Cyrus (a second round pick last year) and was part of a formidable offensive like at Alabama. His biggest question mark is his durability - he's had a couple of knee injuries and operations in his time at Alabama.

With the 80th pick of the NFL Draft, the Houston Texans select..
Reese Dismukes, Center, Auburn.
After sorting out the CB and ILB positions in the first two rounds - the next biggest need for the Texans (if Myers doesn't resign) is the center position. Reese Dismukes is the best remaining center left. A four year starter at Auburn, he'll need to get a bit bigger in the NFL but I think he fits well at the Texans who will be a run first offense again next year. Dismukes was the winner of the Rimington Trophy for the best center in college football in 2014 following in the footsteps of players like Dominic Raiola, Bryan Stork and Maurkice Pouncey.0 -

hau'oli kikaha olb after the retirement of jj and the release of Dwight Freeney the chargers need an extra player at pass rush, granted there is options on the roster but they have had injury problems so extra cover is needed and with a player oh his quality available he could be a starter, he has 19 sack in 2014 and 32 between 2012/2013, his weakness is he is not a great run stopper but with work with coaches he could improve on that and be a real steal atbthis point,

tyler locket is 5'10'' an 182pounds it is small for a wr in the nfl but he is fast can get behind cbs and safetys and make big plays from the slot or out wide is great route runner and has good hands very few dropped passes, he can come in as a starter for day one for Tebow, Sanchez who ever starts qb and be a big help on plays, he can also play kick and punt returner,

Rashad 5'12'' and 182 pounds hes a fast route runner who can get open from the slot or backfield and make short throws into big gains, hes not afraid to compete for the ball in he air with bigger defcence players

With the 86th overall pick in the AF Boards Mock Draft the Arizona Cardinals select
CB- D'Joun Smith-Florida Atlantic
For me the Cardinals three biggest needs heading into the draft were RB, Linebacker and CB, the first 2 were addressed in rounds 1 and 2 so I've decided to go with D'Joun Smith here to come in for the departed Antonio Cromartie.
Smith is a corner who has impressed sources with his speed and athleticism, and his strong play in 2014 earned him an invitation to the Senior Bowl. He totaled 53 tackles with eight passes broken up and one forced fumble on the year. Smith has the speed and athleticism to be a cover corner, which is partly why opponents didn't throw his direction much this past season. In 2013, he recorded 13 passes broken up, seven interceptions and 35 tackles.
He lacks ideal size, length and strength and can be outmuscled at the line of scrimmage. Smith is aggressive in run support, but has room to improve his tackling technique and consistency.0 -
With the 87th overall pick in the AF Boards Mock Draft the Pittsburgh Steelers select
OLB/DE- Markus Golden-Missouri
The Steelers go Defense again in round 3, for me outside linebacker is their biggest need in the draft. James Harrison isn't getting any younger and Jarvis Jones is coming dangerously close to been given the bust label.
Despite playing an estimated 40 percent of the snaps last season, Golden recorded 55 tackles, including 13 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks, he also broke up eight passes
The 6-foot-2, 260-pounder has speed off the edge with some strength to him. Golden is a bit of a tweener DE/OLB who would fit best as a 3-4 outside linebacker which the Steelers run0 -
With the 88th overall pick in the AF Boards Mock Draft the Detroit Lions select
CB-Ifo Ekpre-Olomu-Oregon
The Lions got a nice year out of Rashean Mathis last year, but they can't count on that for the long term. Taking a corner on Day 2 makes sense.
Ekpre-Olomu suffered a serious injury (ACL) in bowl practice that ended his season and took away his opportunity to play at the Senior Bowl. The 5-foot-9, 192-pounder is a good cover corner, Ekpre-Olomu notched two interceptions, nine passes broken up and 63 tackles in 2014 before injury struck.
He has many of the requisite skills to survive in both press and off-man, displaying quick diagnose skills, twitchy reaction time and the athleticism to break on the ball. Ekpre-Olomu shows swivel hips, smooth footwork and explosive lower body skills to close in a hurry on the ball.
He lacks prototype size and relies on vision, timing and hand-eye coordination rather than extraordinary speed or fluidity to shut down opponents. Can be easily tied up by blockers on the perimeter0 -

Jaquiski Tartt SS of Samford University
@ 6'1 and 218lbs he has the size and imo the instincts to be a very good hard hitting safety. With Mike Mitchell moving to the Steelers, this is safe bet.0 -

The Baltimore Ravens select out of Northern Iowa
David Johnson Running Back
Averaging 10 TDs and 1000 yards over the last 5 years (basically didnt play as a freshman so those stats are really over 4 years.
He can return ball, he can run with it he can catch... he's also thrown 2 TDs in his college days. SIGN HIM UP!
