[REQ] Ultraportable or other small/light laptop

    Figured I'd get on better here than in Bargain Alerts.

    I'm looking for a laptop for college with roughly the following criteria:

    Weight: Less than 2kg
    Screen size: 14.1" or less
    RAM: At least 1gb
    HD: At least 80gb
    GFX: Pref a 128mb card
    Really good battery life (is 4 hours unrealistic? small screen!)
    Budget: Less than €900
    Dosen't have to be new, if theres any 2nd hand bargains going!

    Am I being unrealistic in my hopes? And if so, where could I find systems that almost meet the above criteria. I'v seen laptops I'd love but for about €1,300 which is far too much for me.

    Dell XPS M1210
    or Dell Latitude D420
    Or Dell Latitude D410 (probably from Ebay)
    First two, will be more that €1300 and third one would be roughly €600-800(ish).
    Also IBM/Lenovo X61S (Drool....) but very pricey bit of sexy kit.

    You could do worse than look at an Apple MacBook,

    Weight: 2.31 kg - a little over I know, but ...
    Screen: 13"
    RAM: 1GB standard, supports up to 3GB

    Budget: on the Apple refurb store you can pick 'em up for well within your budget. Nothing there now (Saturday) but generally during the week.
