    Core 2 Extreme in a laptop?....why?

I can only imagine how magnificent battery life would be! If you were going to buy that laptop, for the same price you could actually get another good gaming laptop, and a killer gaming desktop. Anyone who really buys anything like that....well...its a waste, in my opinion, and I do LOVE having a good laptop even at that.

I wouldn't like to be in the room when that thing turns on... gotta be seriously loud, 3 hard-drives and that cpu/graphics card combination? recipe for noise.

In reality, you would want to be special needs to consider buying this. RAID 5? I imagine its OS RAID rather that a controller.......madness!

12 cell battery. You'd need it for all those hard drives. Spend €2000 or so on a sweet desktop (should be able to get a nice 22" screen as well) and spent the rest on a laptop.

azzeretti - that is a very inappropriate phrase, especially when we are talking about a laptop. Please find a more eloquent way of expressing your displeasure.

Speaking of displeasure, I can only assume this laptop is built for portability. I assume the battery life would be all of 30 minutes. Who makes it? Any links?

    and to break your back.

i can't see why people would spend that amount of money on a laptop.

laptop = portability with no need to plug in.

    well that's my imo.

    a lot.

    it has 3 hard drives.
    a graphics card
    and
    a 12 cell battery.

lucky for it to be under 4kg.

    3 hard drives,
    12 cell battery,
    and dual graphics cards.....

its an american company. and there seems to be a lot more on the site.
just this one caught my eye.
