Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sure this fiasco will cost them more in the long run all of which they totally deserve.

    Solid company management there.

Great to see a bit of people power reversing a greedy policy like this. They have lost a lot of good will towards the company with this move. Typical scabby head office move without any regard for the customer. No wonder they are always on the edge of going out of business.

+1 They have a track record of royally screwing up offers to buy an item in advance of the official release date. The one I remember was when they advertised advance sales of the DVD of the original Titanic movie which you could pre-order from Xtravision with the carrot of a free poster. Loads of punters paid up and waited for the release date. When it arrived, Dunnes Stores immediately offered the disc at a significant discount and the 'free' poster didn't look like such a good deal after all, cue a load of disgruntled parents who called Joe to complain.

This will definitely kill any future sale of gadgetry or games via pre-order and with network access to movies via Netflix etc. killing the market for DVDs, I can't see them lasting in business much longer.
