    Hi all,

I was summoned to appear on a jury duty panel yesterday, I turned up but wasn't selected. At the end, the judge instructed us to appear again next Tuesday as they are forming another jury from the same pool for a different case. Unfortunately I'm heading on holidays at the weekend so won't be able to attend. What are the consequences of not turning up (especially considering I turned up for the first one)?. What is the best way to deal with it? Also is it normal to appoint two juries from the same pool?

    Thanks

Contact the office listed on the summons and explain the issue. In answer to your question multiple juries can be picked from the pool.
