Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    OK I have somewhere to sleep.

    It's a bed with a (solid)base covered in the same material as the mattress and taking away that valuable under the bed storage space and sense of space.

    Does anybody know of any bed frame designs for a beginner to woodworking.

    I have a chop-saw, various drills, jigsaw and plenty of hand tools.

    I would size it to suit the mattress I have.

    Beds aren't so complicated but a lot of the plans ive found on the internet seem to be aimed at people with a reasonably high level of skill in their hands.
    I found this plan on a site I use sometimes and it seems like a reasonable design although I'm not mad on dowles and screws on show myself.

    If it was me, I'd use this as a pointer and experiment with different design and construction ideas. You get to claim it as your very own that way.
