Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

VMware Fusion Problem

I started up windows 7 through vmware last night and it took about ten minutes to get going, once it was running it was extremely slow even when pressing the start button the delay was about thirty seconds.
My mac is running perfectly and usually when I use windows it starts up in under a minute, I've never had a problem with vmware and don't know where to start.
    Anyone have any ideas?

What's the spec of your Mac ? You need to give Windows at least 1GB of RAM and don't forget to install the Guest Additions which installs the drivers needed. What other settings have you ?

    Cheers for the reply.
It's worked fine for ages, the problem only started yesterday.
    It's a 27" iMac with an i7 3.4ghz, 24GB ram and a SSD.
I have the virtual machine set to use 8gb of ram.

Just wondering if Yosemite beta 2 could be the problem, I might reinstall Mavericks to see if it makes a difference.

Just thought I'd post an update in case anyone has the same problem with a vm running slow in vmware or parallels.
As it turns out it was a problem with the NVRAM which can be fixed with a terminal command. See post three here
