Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Passat indicators just packed in!

    Hey guys,

    Coming home there now my indicators just stopped working, cant understand why!
    Everything else on both instrument stalks work fine!
    They worked fine for half the journey and then died like a fuse blowing!
    Maybe it is? Or a relay?
    Too late to get a look now but any answers are greatly appreciated :-)

    You don't mention the year of your Passat but I'd imagine a new hazard warning light switch will see you right.

    Sounds more like a relay more than a fuse as they fail on that model Passat.

    i'd agree on the relay but just in case it's not if you have a towbar the wires for the indicator in the tow bar may have crossed, seen it happen before

    Thanks for all the replies lads its fixed now, it was indeed the relay built into the hazard light switch ;)

    Ok for another few weeks now :D
