Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Aye 'tis normal, same on my s40
That demister button tells the system to blow conditioned air out everywhere, including against your side windows. It's pretty efficient too I might add.
It's more for when you sit into a fogged car tho. What you're probably actually looking for during everyday driving is the 'head' button out of the head/body/feet set of buttons. Turn this on and control the fan as normal to have continuous direction of air against the windscreen.
I can understand why you were spooked. First time I pressed that button it scared the sh1t out of me!

Thanks guys, seems your right. I was digging through the internet and came across the s70 manual and this seems to be normal but I normally use the blower to melt the ice from the front window in other cars even in older volvos that I had in the winter but I guess its a scraper this winter 0

No need for the scraper. Turn up the temperature on the climate control and that switch should blow warmer air.0 -
