    If you go for the Volvo make sure it has a service history, as anthony4335 said the earlier models have isues with the traction control/abs but if you have a dealer service history Volvo will refund you if they fail.
    id go for the Volvo a lot nicer to drive, VW/audi are nothing more than aerodynamic tractors, in fact most modern tractors would be more comfortable

    Very true, and it's more annoying given that previous model A4's were actually soft and a bit wallowy in corners, yet over-firm at lower speeds on poor surfaces. The worst of both worlds, so to speak. It's down to cheap dampers.
