Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Trying to decide which to purchase for attic conversion. Rooflite are cheaper but are velux better? Am I right in thinking that rooflite comes with flashing included in box - this would be an even bigger saving, not sure. Any advice appreciated

First look at the u-value of the window, what type of glass etc., than warranty how long it will be. And than You can look ate the design and features.
There's a lot of problems with cheep windows, but the main problem is cheep workmanship of the fitter. make sure it's all done well.

Completely Agree with everything said there .Make sure you are comparing like with like from each manufacturer and make sure they are fitted correctly. The flashings are sold separately based on tile or slate .

The new Velux windows this year , imo are a nicer looking unit but I don't think anyone outside the construction industry would notice the difference too quickly.
