Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There are many, many types of cartilage piercings. Specify which you want. There is no right or wrong ear to get pierced.

As for cartilage piercings, you have many locations. It can be in any ear, and pretty much any spot in your cartilage you can think of. I have a helix, forward helix, and one in the middle spot where cartilage meets the lobe, in Spanish we call it "Half ear" but im sure that´s not its real name.
The helix was the easiest to heal. Forward helix was fine too although I had to change my big headphones for a while cause they touched the piercing. The one in the middle was a little harder to heal since it was a tricky spot being half cartilage half lobe, although 5 years later is healthy and looking good. I have a few friends who tried the tragus but it didn´t really heal well for any of them, I wouldnt know if its something they did wrong.
Pain was pretty much the same in all of them, pretty bareable, I just close my eyes and breathe until its done, thinking about the lovely piercing Im getting. First cartilage I got  little freaked out because I heard the cartilage "pop" when the needle went through, but I have 7 piercings in my ears alone so you can guess even then it wasn´t as much of a trauma, it may bleed although I never had it happen. Just research what you want, go to  good place, follow aftercare instructions, and be patient with healing since it takes longer than a lobe piercing.
