Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

French Doors Letting in Water

The French doors at the back of our home have been letting in water causing dampness on our floorboards anytime it's rained hard. When I open up the doors there's a gap in the gasket seal of about one inche so I presume this is where the water is coming in?

I've looked online (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/R4055X-FLIPPER-UPVC-WINDOW-DOOR-RUBBER-GASKET-SEAL-/400618576454?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item5d46ba5a46) and there's a company in the UK selling the same gasket that I need (flipper) but is it a case of simply sticking in a couple of inches or should I replace the complete bottom section or even the whole gasket seal (that looks like it's all one piece)?

Is there anywhere in ireland selling these gaskets?

    Update:
I just had a look out the back with the doors closed and can see we're missing a chunk of the flap that covers the seal in the center column of the door and the flap on the left section is off a little - see attached images. :(

    Any advice anyone?

Personally i would think the water is getting in under the frame as you have a clear gap there and your exterior step looks like it has damage from ponding water

I think you could be right, the gap in the gasket probably isn't helping either. I wonder should I get someone to take a look at it?

Looks like there are four holes on the inside and two on the outside, these didn't appear to be blocked, just a little dirt in there.

Can't tell from ur photos but are there any screw heads visible on the inside... This happen to me on three different sets of doors turns out they were fitted incorrect and caused the water to leak back inside rather than out.
