Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Uhm, wasn't it UCD netsoc who had that talk?

Just to clarify, TCD netsoc and UCD netsoc are two separate entities who have little contact with each other.

So two different groups of student scum organised the two different talks etc.

http://www.netsoc.tcd.ie/ are putting on Simple Nomad.

    http://www.netsoc.ucd.ie/ put on Karen Lillington.

The netsoc analogue in dcu is redbrick, there's golem in dit, skynet in ul etc.

I really don't know, its years since I was involved in netsoc. Someone on committee asked me to post this up, so I assume it's no problem for non members to go.

They might ask you to sign up for external membership, which means that you get to go to the rest of the netsoc talks for the year for free and costs 3 eurocredits or so (I think).
