Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

we have a problem with out kitchen tap.it's a mixer tap that had a bit of a drip.now because the tap was over tightened to overcome the drip it now won't stop trickling.it appears that when it is tightened the threaded spindle jumps out of float part that stops the water.easy there an easy solution or do I need to replace the tap?

Turn off the water and use a spanner to remove the whole brass part under the tap head. Head to woodies, they have a wall of various plumbing fittings hanging up. Look and you should find an identical part. You may only require a washer but in all likelihood if its been overtightened then you are better replacing the whole brass spindle and washer assembly.
