Electronic Interferance

I have a small studio setup and I find that there tends to be an interferance with my amp when I have the pc switched on, is there anyway I can cut this out as Ideally I'd like to be recording through my amp and not through my pro tools rig direct. Any help you can give appreciated. Cheers Fusion

Is it a flat screen monitor or regular old CRT?

It's a CRT, just ordered a TFT will that fix the problem??

Turn off the monitor when recording/playback and see if that solves the issue. CRT's are known to cause hum, my CRT tv causes interference with my guitar amp
