    Guys

I am just beginning to look at creating a family tree - i presume im not lucky enough that there is a one stop shop for this in Ireland ?

To be honest i have no issue in paying fees for information to make it easier

    any recommendations where to start?

A very good place to start indeed!:)
But before that, write down what you know.

Then also have a think about what you want to find out.
Is there a particular ancestor you are interested in?
Are you trying to find where your family originated?
Or are you just interested in simply compiling the family history?

So write down all you know of your family and then talk to your parents and other older relatives and this will help you identify what documents - births, marriages, deaths, census returns, wills - to look for at the next stage.

Don't worry - pretty soon you'll be utterly hooked like the rest of us.:o
