Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Man of Steel - Some people were bound to like this no matter what the final result and I didn't.
    Captain Philips - It wasn't without its charm and there were some fine performances but I really didn't feel it warranted the huge release (IMAX for God's sake) and plaudits it received.
    Kick Ass 2 - Like its predecessor I just think the film is way overrated.
    The World's End - I seem to be in a minority by thinking this was the worst of the two apocalypse themed comedies that were released this year.

    Pacific Rim - It seemed like a movie written & directed by 10year old boys.
    Iron Man 3 - Nothing new or exciting here. Robert Downey Jr's act starting to get a bit old.
    G.I. Joe Retaliation - Channing Tatum should only do comedy. Can anyone (except 15year old girls) take him seriously?
    White House Down - I hope Denzel Washington got a bucket load of money for this as he really is better than this

    Pacific Rim. Found it to be poorly scripted and the acting was terrible. Even the action sequences suffered from the judder in panning sequences. I guess that isn't the fault of the camera man but with higher frame rates there is no excuse.
