Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I just bought a ram and paypal took the full amount, does it come back later?

Did you enter the voucher code when paying and apply it to the order, the discount shows before you check out.

Yep mine's coming up the it's the full amount but when you break it down it includes the coupon

    PayPal: 1.72
    Coupon: 2.27

    Paypal: 2.37
    Coupon: 2.73

because I bought from two different sellers in one transaction.

Theres a lad on AVForums who is saying hes apparently making £5 listings on his second computer, and buying them with his fake new paypal accounts with the voucher and building up money this way. Could be BS though.

Great BA! After 40 mins of tough deliberation I bought a whole new aerial for my car, it's been broken months after a nasty run in with a car wash. Only cost me €2, sweet.

if the price is under £5 with free p&p you can set up a new paypal account and skip payment section.
when you go to 'pay' you can log into new paypal acc and voila.
As theres no payment it accepts.

just use different email address to setup paypal

    This one to be exact.

Thanks OP, I could eat you.

Got a bicycle seatpost for £13.49 incl P+P with the voucher code applied.

    Invoice received shows the same.

Paypal a/c though shows £18.49 having been taken out.

Any ideas? Will the £5 be refunded? I certainly hope so.

I should have got the 24 elite. Instead

Not likely, I've had to deal with eBay and Paypal in the past as a buyer and a seller and both are nightmares. Paypal are particularly hard to deal with as it's almost impossible to contact a human.

    Stopped selling because of it.

Click into the transaction details on your paypal page. It should show the breakdown between coupon payment and your payment.

I used three of these. Items were processed and marked as shipped the next day from China. It's been almost three weeks and nada.
    Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,743 ✭✭✭podge3

My 3 free items arrived today :D

    Thanks again OP.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,836 ✭✭✭TanG411

My item arrived nearly two weeks ago.

Though I did order a replacement screen for a mobile phone from China three weeks ago. That hasn't arrived yet. I didn't use the code for that.

Things from Asia have always taken two weeks for me.
