    This is driving me nuts.
Recently I sent 73 photos of my garden to a friend, I was surprised that they sent, but send they did.Today I tried to send another 12, but I got the message "The files you selected exceeded 25MB limit".
I retrieved the first email and the 73 attached photos were in the 75 - 200 KB range but in the file in the computer they are 6 - 7 MB. The photos I tried to send today are also in the 6 - 7 MB range.
Any ideas how the first ones got small enough to send?

You need a smaller garden by the sounds of it.

It's shorter than actually spelling out your name...... Also this is a subject I feel passionate about, garden photos and emails....

    Eegit is what culchies say.

Eejit is what normal people say.

I hate it when your attachments are too big to travel over the internet.:(

If your friend doesn't have real broadband then you burning up their download allowance and you aren't their friend.:mad::mad:

If the attachements were base 64 mime encoded then they would become 1/3 larger. ( 16 MB of files would become 24MB )

Your friend probably just rigged your email account so you can't send him any more crap pictures.
Just send him a basket of muffins and it'll be fine.

Maybe your email provider resized the first batch of pictures and sent it
Did it give you an option to resize when you tried to send the second email?

I also think you should consider resizing your garden

if I even took a single photo of my garden it'd include 3 neighbors gardens in it too :(

Serious answer: Are you sending the new photos as a new message or along with the old ones? Check that the message doesn't contain the old message also.
