Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hogmanay options...and not Edinburgh

    Hi,

I am looking to spend 3-4 days in Scotland for New Years. We're flying from Dublin/Knock and I'd like to stay away from the main party in Edinburgh and maybe explore more northern/eastern regions (Inverness?). I'd still like some "life" for the New Year but not the Edinburgh madness....I've read a little about the "fire" marches in other regions and this could also be an option...

A bit broad but could I ask if anyone has suggestions for these regions for Hogmanay and if so, could you suggest areas to stay which would be walking/local bus distance from events etc (hadn't planned on hiring a car)?

    Thanks in advance
    Regards
