Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anyone know if this route will be taken on by anyone when Ryanair pull their flights in March?

    Hi Guys,

Does anyone know are there any flights between Edinburgh and Shannon anymore and if so on what days?

www.ryanair.com says they fly three times a week until the end of October. Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

    After that there's zilch.

It's easy to find on their website.

    Cheers nompere,

Whereabouts did you find that on their website? Everytime i click the 'timetable' link they ask you for specific dates....they don't give you an option of looking at a basic weekly schedule between cities????

Put in a couple of dates - say Saturday 2 October for one trip and Monday 4 October for the return journey. The pattern of flights is obvious. Then just keep changing the return journey by one week, and see how there aren't any flights after the end of October.

Just needs a little applied common sense really.

thank you, it would be easier if you didnt have to be fiddling around with dates though!:D

Does anyone think Ryanair will restart this route as part of the latest announcement?

Would doubt it. Can't see enough people filling a plane that size. You are probably aware, but Aer Lingus (operated by Aer Arann) operate this route now, but at a higher price than you may have paid with Ryanair.

Yeah they're pricey. I live in hope. Think it would be a viable route myself.
