Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi guys,

Can you give me a ballpark of what it might cost to move a radiator from one side of a room to the other.
The wall I want to move it to adjoins the neighbour but is right beside the boiler and there seem to be boxed-in pipes running along at the bottom of the wall already-presumably running from the boiler to the other rads.

    Thanks!

Its kinda like how long is piece of string there really is no ballpark figure for a job like this. There are too many factors that will effect the price like is the rad upstairs or downstairs, what type of floor is it concrete or timber what type of floor coverings are there tiles, laminate etc, what kind of structure is the wall concrete or stud. Is the heating system in good shape will it need to be flushed, what type of material is the piping ie GB, copper, plastic. The job could be very straight forward or it could be a complicated mess it is very case by case
