Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Issued by APCOA,

    Quote:
Any interference or damage to this clamping device will render you liable for an additional charge of €3000 and/or possible criminal damage charges.

All those damaging, stealing or removing immobilization devices will be prosecuted for theft and criminal damages.

That 'charge' is about as legally enforceable as me charging you €20 to read this post. Hence why they call it a 'charge' and not a fine. I'd love to see them go before a disctrict judge trying to enforce it.

Also, I'd much rather have given him the €60. The more rogue clampers, the quicker their employers go out of business :)

In fact, I think I'd have given him the €60 and then called the guards and say he extorted €60 from me.

I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Its still worth more than hearsay, and a clamper/clamp co would never challenge it. Too much bad PR.

I'd have given the guy the 60 squid.

You'd have saved €60, got your car back instantly and cheated the scummy clamping company out of €120. Win all around.
