Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thought this was kinda funny :)

    http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/56/36006.html

"The unknown authors of the Netsky and Bagle worms are battling in cyberspace for control of vulnerable Windows PCs. Maybe. " < love the maybe bit at the end too >

Seems the virus writing groups have gone to war against each other

"three new Netsky worms designed to remove Bagle and MyDoom infections from infected PCs have also arrived on the scene in recent days. "

They are removing each others backdoors from infected PCs :) thats it, if my logic is correct I can take down my firewall and I should be all patched in no time !

Actually, I've seen this being put forward as a solution for the problem of people not updating their virus scanners. Release "anti-virials" in the same infectious fashion as virri... Once the anti-viral is executed, check all files for infection and repair, if none exists close the door through which it could get it. Its called the "blue-goo" scenario...
