Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Heart rate zones most likely.

Have you a heart rate monitor? They are pretty cheap on their own, or if you have a Garmin, you can (usually) pair a Garmin hrm .

Either a heart rate or power zone. If you are following a plan from a coach surely the coach would have explained all this? If they haven't then they are a cowboy.

Had a look at Plan 2 which strikes me as quite good as a base training plan if you are in to that. None of the efforts in it are "flat out" BTW but some should feel hard.

Problem I have always had with these plans is that our seasons are the wrong way around. If you were working and lived down-under, oct-feb would probably offer great early morning training for a plan like this. I'm assuming of course that domestic racing/sportives still happen mar-sep there.

Friel's material is quite detailed. I found the Time Crunched Cyclist much easier to get started with program wise and more suited to our winter due to shorter turbo friendly sessions (I'd find 90 mins hard on a turbo, let alone 2-3 hours)
