Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Medion Akoya P34592 (MD 8393) Multimedia PC

    Can anyone say what sound card is in this PC. Anyone burchase one of these.?
    None of the specs actually mention a name or model number
    but I am sure there is one included.
    Just curious as thinking of maybe buying this machine and everything else
    is laid out in the specs.
    This if the Medion Akoya P34592 (MD 8393) Multimedia PC that Aldi sold on 3rd August just past.
    There are some available in some of the stores. They also have an earlier model at €100 off, selling for €399 (originally €499).

    if it doesnt list it in the specs then its probably just a generic one built into the motherboard... like a realtec or intel...

    it will most likely be 1 of 3 possible soundchips built into the motherboard

    1. Creative Soundblaster

    2. Realtek Audio

    3. C-Media Audio

    All are 7.1 surround sound capable

    Thanks for that info, I am going to go with the Medion as I am told the 36 month warranty would be worth about €140 with Dell. It will be out of date in 4 years so what the hell.
