Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Nah his eye is messed up, center of the eye always looks really dark or something.

The pacing of this card is killing me. I've been brain washed about metro PCS, ufc 172, ufc fox 10

Belcher hasn't fought since last year (april/may) when Bisping beat him, and as for Miller still being in the UFC, you are having a laugh aint ya???

Miller was sacked a while back. And I think belcher is on the verge of retirement due to injury. Open to correction on this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 840 ✭✭✭jsa112

miller wasn't, he's been injured. Belcher said he was taking a break and doing BJJ instead, but not officially cut. Both are on their way out sooner than later though

Ok for anyone still awake..... Call it.

I'm going with Bisping by UD.

  • Registered Users Posts: 175 ✭✭Maynard

Belcher has been competing in bjj but has talked about laying off the mma indefinitely.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 840 ✭✭✭jsa112

Think it will go the same, probably a 48-47 decision. think kennedy will hang in there till the end unfortunately

Miller was definitely sacked. Apparently over some stunt he tried to pull on his walkout against CB Dolloway.

Hoping for a first minute K.O. Due to being very tired.

Should be an interesting fight though. Just wish the UFC weren't flooding the market with so many events lately. A two fight cards when one will do situation.

Also after the interview with Kennedy's coach, I can see where he gets his charisma from.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 840 ✭✭✭jsa112

Seemingly Bisping can get that eye blemish fixed when his career is over

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 704 ✭✭✭jodaw

Looking forward to this. Kennedy is just so unlikeable

Belcher is still signed. Not sure if the eye is a factor.

Miller fought about 12 months ago, and is still signed.

You are thinking of the wrong person

Notice Bisping is constantly brushing the top left of his face, near his eye

Looks like Bisping might have his number now. If he stays calm he'll do the business here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 704 ✭✭✭jodaw

Jeez ref here is cack. Kennedy dry humping for two rounds without doing anything. Just moving all the time. Ref should have stood it up

    29-28 to kennedy so far

Styles makes fights. Pretty terrible this one. I want to see TRT Vitor lay Kennedy out, that would be sweet

    Close call, poor fight.

I'd go for Bisping 48-47 but that 4th is a decider, i just gave it to Bisping

Hardly say he 'clearly' didn't win, like i said it was very close but how he got a 50-45 from 1 of the judges??

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 3 SeeHaaychDee

    50-45? wtf

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,944 ✭✭✭✭scudzilla

    50-45? wtf

yeah, Rd 1 & 3 to Kennedy in my eyes.

Bisping clearly won Rd 2, and 4 & 5 were tight, i gave them to Bisping cos he was the more aggresive and moving forward

He clearly did not win. Scoring heavily weighted towards takedowns so Kennedy clearly won Rnd 1,3,5 Bisping won Rnd 2 and I would give Rnd 4 to Kennedy

I think Kennedy just about scraped it but these judges never cease to amaze me.

    Shocking scoring.

Gutted for Bisping. Very frustrating to lose like that.

I was refer to Dan Miller.

So does that mean we were both wrong or we were both right?? :D;)

It means you had the wrong guy. Why would i get dragged down with you?
I was the one who brought up (Dan) Miller. I knew who I was talking about ;)

Some questionable scoring in the Bisping fight. I had it 2-2 going into the final round and the final round going either way. Bisping definitely took the 2nd so whatever ref scored it 50-45 was watching a different fight.

It's one of those fights where we could argue till the cows come home and not reach a conclusion. When buffer announced it as a unanimous bisping sorta pointed towards kennedy, knowing he'd lost, how long before he comes out and says he thinks he won the fight?

To be honest I had it 4-1 to Kennedy but thought Bisping clearly won the 2nd round so how one judge had it 50-45 I don't know. Right guy still won in the end I know.

Not a fan of Bisping but kinds felt sorry for him last night. Probably could have done with a tune-up fight first against an easier opponent after over a year out with a serious injury.

Bisping really didn't look his usual self. A lot of ring rust methinks.

can't remember wanting bisbing to win this bad :(

I don't think that was one of his better performances so maybe
the lay off was a factor
I didn't think kennedy would have as much success getting
    bisbing down

theodorou has a huge future ahead of him imo
most impressive ufc debut ive seen in a while
he appears to have it all, cant wait to see who he gets next

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,503 ✭✭✭adamski8

I thought it was a typical bisping performance. He is always so damn hesitant evem though he is a better striker. The only difference in this fight to others that he ended up winning was that he fought a guy who could take him down and hold him there.
