He did a few years ago. But he also said more recently (January) that he regretted saying that and he doesn't feel like retiring at this moment.

1) I was going to go for Spain in the Euros, but I reckon Germany will do it now Puyol is out.
2) RVP will stay.
3) Juve will spend big on a striker.
4) Dempsey and Dembele will be signed by other Premier League teams.
5) Keane will be WBA manager.
6) Agree with whoever said Madrid will sign a right back.
7) Milan will keep T-Silly and Ibra.
8) Barça won’t spend more than 20M on a player.
9) Dalglish won’t carry on as Liverpool manager.
10) Ireland won’t score at the Euros.

1. Hodgson will have England playing some of the most cave man football seen, but they will progress further than usual

2. Van Persie will stay with Arsenal after a "will he won't he saga", calibre of new signings will persuade him to stay

3. Kenny will move upstairs or to an ambassadorial role

4. Ireland will finish second in their group in the Euro's and lose to England in the quarters.

5. Germany will win the tournament

6. Owen Coyle will take over at Villa after getting Bolton relegated and McLeish is sacked. Getting your club relegated from the EPL the season before will become a pre requisite to get the Villa job.

7. Gaitan to United, Hazard to City, Modric to Chelsea, M'Vila to Arsenal, Hoilett to Spurs, Castaignos to Liverpool

8. Chris Hughton will become West Brom boss

9. Gareth Bale will come close to signing for Barca before he decides on one more season with Spurs (before joining Barca the following season)

10. It will become apparent that the top clubs are not playing by Financial Fair play rules, and what the top clubs want, the top clubs will get from UEFA in the end.

1)Liverpool will not sign any English players during the summer, first signing will be free scoring free agent Maxi Rodriguez for around £20m.

2)Manchester United won't sign any of their major midfield targets due to 'no value in the market'.

3)Di Matteo will get the Chelsea job due to lack of any other interest.

4)Van Persie will go to Barca/City.

5)Higuain will go to PSG.

6)England's failure at the Euros will be blamed on tensions between John Terry and Rio Ferdinand.

7)Germany will win the tournament, with Schweinsteiger as player of the tournament.

8)Kenny will remain in charge at Liverpool.

9)Suarez will be linked with other clubs on a weekly basis.

10)Gerrard will pick up an injury just before the start of next season.

2. PSG will sign a very big name probably Kaka.
3. Liverpool will miss out on all their primary transfer targets.
4. Dalglish will stay
5. Ronaldo will blow his chance to win the Ballon D'Or by having a disappointing Euros.
6. RVP will stay at Arsenal

3. Ireland will get out of our group at the euros only to meet england(think it is possible,not to sure??)

3. Van Persie will stay
4. Ireland not to win a game at the euros
5. Some largely unheard of player will have a belter few games in poland/ukraine and sign for big money at a top club.
6. Dalglish to stay as Liverpool manager
7. Utd. to buy a top quality young midfielder for £30m+
8. Liverpool to have learned from their mistakes and invest wisely in foreign talent
9. Valencia to sell another one of their star players
10. Monaghan Utd. To drop out of LOI unless things change soon
11. PSG to spend a bonkers amount of money
12. Another big name will move to MLS
13. Higuain to leave madrid
14. Hazard > City
15. I will sign for Liverpool FC for a cola scor and a packet of meanies and will score 40 goals next season
