Turned it off after 15 minutes. There is a version taken from UFC Fight Pass out there with English subs but I wouldn't bother.

If you skip the usual filler crap it's not too bad. They now have a "UFC Ring Girl" competition going on at the same time. Not sure what it's all about but there was a lot of sexy ladies knocking around for a brief moment on screen.

The assistant coaches I didn't get either.. A volleyball pro and a basketball pro, both female, no clue on the sport and slightly squeamish. Saying stuff like "Is that legal", "I hope they stop this fight, I can't watch it", "If his arm breaks I think I'll be sick".

The kick was nasty alright. It was just unfortunate that the guy was out on the way down and couldn't get his hands to the mat.

Watched it there yesterday. Wouldn't be going out of my way to watch it or anything. Don't get the assistant coaches though. Very strange format.

I get the feeling the subtitles are just wrong. People said things in that first episode that I just couldn't imagine any real people saying, and the show is really hard to follow as a result. Also the volleyball and basketball coach have clearly never seen a fight in their lives, what is the point of them?

I can see Chael picking Wanderlais guy if he gets first pick just to annoy him.

the mental coaches are just...mental, and actually look like mickey rourke considering how much surgery they've both had.

whoever gets first pick will pick him in any event. he looked very good.

I think this is because it's being translated by someone whose first language is Portuguese and they are translating it directly. If it was an English speaker they would modify it to use phrases that fit.

First fight was a bit of a turd IMO.

Third round, both guys were either too knackered to even try. Especially Wagnao, he constantly just tried to hold Sonnen's guy down. I would actually score it the other way. Even though Wagnao had top position he was doing nothing. Not even throwing punches, he just kept grabbing his ankle and pulling him down again.

Octagon girl competition is as pointless as the "guest coaches", but I'm not complaining.

Agree about the fight and the girls. How does one even practice at becoming an octagon girl!? They hold up a scorecard..

Not sure what fight Wanderlai was watching when he was saying "that's as good a fight as you'll see in the UFC". It was rubbish.

Wandy is a sickening man. Can not stand him at all.

First fight was utter rubbish.

Be interesting to see who gets booted from the show. I guess by a clip, a team wandy boy get cut open during practice bad, so I assume someone in his own team punches him, cause in the meeting with Dana on video, its all team wandy and only Sonnen.

Yep, i know it was only on TUF but the ease with which Chael took him down makes me think this is gonna be a 1 way beating

As bad as the fight was, Wanderlei opening up by spitting on the ground in front of Sonnen was despicable.

Also, we know that nothing major will happen to Sonnen or Silva, but I'm sure that fool from Wanderlei's staff will be booted off the show. It's bad but no surprise that Sonnen and Silva squared off, but piling in and throwing cheap shots from behind is a disgrace. I wouldn't be surprised if that's who Dana was referring to when he said "you should be arrested".

I'm enjoying the show a lot more in the last couple of weeks. Just getting around to watching the latest show there.

Your man coming in with two heavy shots to Sonnen was absolutely disgraceful. Nothing will happen to Wanderlei or Sonnen but that coach will be gone for sure.

As per that "thing" that Wanderlei brought in to showcase some BJJ... *shudders*

Horrible fight this week. Haven't seen 2 guys gas that badly since the HW season. Silva's guy could barely stand up and Sonnen's fighter wasn't much better.

Glad to see that guy Dida kicked off the show.

That fight was reminiscent of Soa Palelei vs Nikita Krylov. Absolutely embarrassing to be that gassed after 6 minutes. The first round wasn't even that much of a taxing one.

Feel sorry for Sonnen's team. Win their first fight and have their fight pick relinquished straight away after one of those stupid challenges.

The crying in these shows drives me absolutely nuts. Almost to the point where I won't watch anything but the fight.

A chael interview from a few weeks ago,talks about the whole Wandy situation. He even says him and Vitors paths will cross. He is easily the most interesting and articulate fighter around.

Ya have to respect Chael tbh. He calls it like it is and is completely open and honest. He talks about this fighter and that fighter being legends but doesn't seem to have a clue that he's a total legend himself.
