Anybody got good recommendations for a Cuban Sandwich? Don;t say Maia though, none of their ingredients are in a real one!

I'd to do the macerated berries with the caramel dust

What part of the pig for the roast pork?
    What kind of pickles?
    What kind of mustard?
    What kind of cheese?

    Leg
    Gerkins
    Dijon
    gruyere

Are you sure it's leg ? I thought it was boston but ( which is shoulder I think) . I used ham - Dijon mustard - pickled cucumber - emmental cheese( not Swiss emmental but what the Americans call Swiss) and the big deal is the bread -
Squishy soft baguette - not a really crispy one -
    A bit ott - but it's a good sambo -

I checked yesterday the Blue Apple and they don't do them anymore.

Since watching Dexter a Cuban Sandwich is on my to-eat list.

Zest cafes in limerick do one. Nice to have something different but I wouldn't travel all the way from Dublin for it!

Farmer Browns do them, not sure how authentic they are with ingredients though!
