Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    "Boycott" my favourite. Loads captured in a simple and uncluttered frame, a case of less is more.

    Speaker or whatever is the crowds focus of attention off frame , banner in frame so you know what it's about, father and child in shot, camera phone...... Shot just works great IMO.

    I could be completely wrong Janer but compared to some of your previous work, you appear a little withdrawn in this. Just not in the thick of things. Not a particular criticism - just an observation. Ok, in fairness.... the garda, and the selfie. But i'm just left wondering if you got another batch of shots where you can literally smell their personalities (like you usually do). Perhaps it just wasn't that kind of a protest. Anyhow, some nice shots.

    EDIT: Actually just to finish out properly here, what i'm probably coming to is to ask you how did the event compare to others that you've shot (just photographically, rather than politically of course).

    The others that you mention had a lot of hatred and anti gardai feeling, these protests are very peaceful and believe it or not the main problem is there are many many manyyyyyyyyyyyy other photographers so add all those up....

    And to measure up to others as you said is probably the other thing that may have effected the type of protest shots you missed.....I am very much pro Palestinian and was more there as a protester than as a photographer.
