    Hey,

If a user has MAC OS 10.2 - what versions of Safari could they have?

Can they install the latest version without needing to have Tiger etc. ?

    Total mac noob here.

    the wikipedia entry http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Safari_%28web_browser%29

says 'Yes' for various versions for each OS - does this mean that those versions of Safari are *only* compatible with those versions?

As far as I can remember, when I was relying on my Panther operated Powerbook, I wasn't able to upgrade Safari until I upgraded my OS so I presume that you have to stick with your version of Safari unless one of the boffins know better.

You may like to try this and see if it will help you out some more...
