Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is this advisable? I was in Asia last summer and I'm going back there this year. I really want to bring my Apple laptop. Will it ruined in the heat? I'm talking about mid to late 40 degree celcius and humidity got up to 97% last year. I'll only be spending a week or two in that really hot place then moving on to colder surroundings.

Will the heat kill my laptop?
    Thanks

If mine can survive a hot and sticky nightclub enviornment without a bother then im sure it will survive a trip abroad.

    But ....
I have heard of a type of "cooler bag" that you can buy that will protect it during extended car trips in hot weather though. (in fact a normal iceland type coolerbag will prolly do the same job). Pretty sure I heard it off a guy doing gigs during the burning man festival in Nevada who was also concerned about the heat.

Any country in Asia , specifically india/ srilanka will reach the higest temp only between 12-2pm in the afternoon that too not in in-doors. ..guess you have no reason to worry
