Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Mainly:

Fields of The Nephilim - If they release an album this year
    Amorphis
    Paradise Lost

Tribulation - The Children of the Night . Due 20/4
The Formulas of Death was a stunning album one of the best of 2013. I hope they can follow with one as good.

I don't think any band has nailed it quite as well as Cattle Decapitation of late, so I'm extremely excited for their new album. One of the best deathgrind bands going. I know they've said on twitter they're done recording, so I'm hoping it's not too far away.
Skinless are a good grind band, hope their "Only The Ruthless Remain" is good.
Might get the new Six Feet Under album, but I'm not their biggest fan so there's no push on that for me.
There's also the new Shining album (Swedish band, not the Norwegian one), "Everyone, Everything, Everywhere, Ends".

I believe Deicide are due a new album too.

'The Formulas of Death' was indeed a fantastic album, I didn't even know they are releasing a new album.

Are godspeed rock? Well I'm posting here anyway.

New album! Out 31st March, titled 'Asunder, Sweet and Other Distress'

    http://pitchfork.com/news/58602-godspeed-you-black-emperor-announce-new-album-asunder-sweet-and-other-distress/

With an album title and track listing sounding as pretentious as fúck, I can't wait :)

    Streaming available here: http://www.theguardian.com/music/2015/mar/24/godspeed-you-black-emperor-asunder-sweet-and-other-distress-album-stream

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

    Mainly know just these ones:

Amorphis - Under The Red Cloud
Iron Maiden - The Book of Souls
    Ghost - Meliora

Slam it if you will but I am really looking forward to Bullet For My Valentine - Venom. Their third album Fever I love but their last album Temper Temper was a steaming pile. Its now at the bottom of a "never again" pile alongside Lulu ha.

Fingers crossed they erase that from existence!

Well based on the 2 tracks they have released from Venom so far, it seems like Temper Temper will be forgotten about, gave it a chance, found it to be such a let down... Especially considering how great Fever was.

Temper Temper was just a minor blip.

The one thing I'm really looking forward to now is Steam Powered Giraffe's new album which is going to be released in September. We'll hear a studio version of this at last:

Yeah, but I'm also always on about all those Japanese bands I listen to? Maybe Steam Powered Giraffe are a bit more accessible than Visual Kei, or Doujin Black Metal :pac:

Oh, nuh-uh, you didn't. I know you did not just say that. You are gonna politely retract that statement, and we're both gonna pretend you did not just say that.

Oomph's new album was released recently and it's absolutely epic from start to finish. Usually there's a selection of songs I like from each of their albums but this one is different. They've also made the guitars a lot heavier with more "chunk".

The new Fear Factory album is a brilliant return to form for them.

Seems like we are going back in time. New releases from Saxon, Maiden, Motorhead, Tank, Deep Purple (live), Annihilator all coming soon. Also Raven just released their latest album. What year are we again? :)

The new Thy Catafalque album Sgùrr is incredible. Fans of avant-garde metal will lap this up.

Yeah this track is over 15 minutes long, but it's too good not to post.
