Hi, Ive been banned from General Election forum for calling the Green Party 'imbeciles' for which I appoligised through PM to Gandalf and said I would tone down my language yet he does not even have the decency to acknowledge that and PM me back. He was complaining about a thread I personally was supposed to have started…

I totally agree with the initial ban and see little reason it shouldnt be extended until someone learns that they need to buck up and fly straight. Given that the election is over fairly soon I think events will over take this situation and a week's ban from the Election forum from yesterday seems appropriate.

Gandie can you make it so. DM2 take yer ban and for god's sake STFU

Darkman let me draw your attention to the part of the Politics Charter/Guidelines which you obviously have never read.

Duplicate Accounts
Any user suspected by the moderators of using a duplicate account on politics will have the duplicate account(s) and their original account banned permanently from the forum. The moderators may also petition the admins to ban the duplicate accounts and original account from boards permanently as well.

So as far as I and the Politics mods are concerned you are now Perm banned along with your duplicate account. Now DeVore may decide to be lenient on you and if he is I will listen to him but I'd be surprised if he does after this little incident.

Naw he won't be site banned we haven't asked for that. The perm ban is from General Elections forum, so after Thursday it doesn't really matter.

Well to be fair to darkman2 he does make a valued contribution to the Weather forum and several members of that board made representations for him.

The perm ban and site ban is in place for people who flit into boards, don't contribute either soapbox or troll and then re-register to continue their disruption.

This is clearly not the case here, darkman needs to calm down, stop blaming his brother and grow up a bit.

May I just say that was true about my brother - he is a bit mad!

And no it is not an imaginary brother, he is very real and likes to act the muppet sometimes leaving me to pick up the pieces.
