The event start at the Mayors House on Dawson Street, Dublin just off Stephens Green on Tuesday 17th of April at 9.30am but I would imagine all the cars will be there before that. They will then be escorted out of the City by Gardai and then to Belfast with stops on the way which will be given to each driver as they leave.

Also I think there might be an apperance by a one off 612 which a Belfast business man has just taken or will be taken delivery of.

i really doubt there is going to be an enzo but i hope there is something like a 575 superamerica or a 360cs, you know not just the usual 355/360/430

It would be amazing if there was an Enzo at it but would be happy if I got to walk around any Ferrari and give it a good lookin too rather than see them drving past on the road.
Would love to see a 360 CS and I mean love to see one.

Also there is a 575 Superamerica in the north as well as some other rarer Ferrari's than you wouldnt see in the south....... so an F40/F50 might be possible too. There will defo be a a Ferrari 612 (or 599 not sure now) dressed up as a police car with a PSNI driver at the wheel.

Why are they going to belfast, why not somewhere around ireland. Also how did you hear about this.Is it a ferrari confirmed meet.I doubt the business men will be out in there ferrari's so you wonot see all the irish ones just afew.Descullen and some garages might be out promoting themselves :)

I would imagine that they are going to Belfast because of some agreement through Charles Hurst and Des Cullen. What difference does it make weather its a an "approved Ferrari meet"!!!!!? They are meeting and I couldnt care less if its a brand name meet up or not or weather they go to Cork or Donegal! And if I had a Ferrari and if I was told of this event as I am sure everyone who bought a Ferrari through either Charles Hurst or Des Cullen was, I would be 100% certain my Ferrari would be there, not to show off or to be big headed but to show everyone else the experience of a Ferrari and I hope to god the Ferrari owners of Ireland arent too caught up in the money they just spent to look good cause if I had one I would want eveyone to experience it weather it 348/355/360/430/550/575/599/612/F40/F50/Enzo and all the classics in between.

Alright lads. Here is a thread from another forum about the Ferrari Rely. Its just reached Paris and it will be coming through the UK to Ireland.

I would like to correct myself too. Its not the Olmpic tourch its a batton that celebrates Ferrari's 60 years of innovation. More info here...............

LOOKS LIKE THIS POST IS WRONG, SORRY:D

This on is up to date.
Quick update on the Ferrari relay event.

"PSNI are taking possession of the car in Newry at around 1100am, it is then going to Boucher via Newcastle, unsure of the ETA as yet.

There will be a convoy of approximately 30 assorted Ferrari's and it should be a really unique opportunity to get some great photo's.

If I can confirm our estimated time of arrival for Boucher, I will post it up befor Tuesday..... "

So they will be getting the 612 @ 11am so 9.30am leaving is about right considering the wont be going slow all the way :)

ireland is not an official part of the rally, this is all organised by charles hurst. in the states each ferrari dealer involved has 60 invites to give to their 60 most important customers.

Well if you really want to see a 612 hang around enniskerry for a while. I've seen a navy one there twice. Once I had the camera, went back to the car to get it and the Ferrari drove off...
