Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Where to get small laptop screws

    Hey lads,
    I was wondering does anybody here know where i can find
    M2.5 × 8 mm, flat-head, nylon-coated screws

    I have a lenovo g505s laptop and 3 screws out of the back of it have gone
    I found them on eBay but there like 15 quid p&p . Does anybody know anywhere in Dublin.

    Checked online on maplins and rs electonics ,but nothing. maybe its the way im searching though

    I just looked through my laptop parts there and haven't got a Lenovo laptop but I have loads of T8 M2.5 XL6 screws and some others that I will check. I'll look at the other laptops for a comparison.

    I checked everything there but the others are M2.5 X4.

    You will find screws off scrap laptops no doubt.

    Its actually 6mm but your man on ebay has them anyways ,
    Thanks though , will order prob tomorrow , just want to double check them

    Ah but cork prices make it a 2c screw. Totally worth the drive for savings!

    :D so to save 54 cents on screws it will cost me €40 on petrol - Have you got coordinates handy :p
