I'm baaaaack! After a leave of absence for a year I have decided to start up my winter/night walks again.
For those than have been on them before, you know the story. For those that haven't, it is a meandering walk with other photographers talking about levels and speed - something I know very little about, I'm just here for the reflections. ANYWAY.:)

    I am thinking of:
    Time: 7:30pm
Date: THURSDAY 23 OCTOBER (just before the clocks change)
Start: Georges Quay (Opposite Custom House)
Direction: – down the docklands towards Samuel Beckett Bridge – cross to Dublin Convention Centre.

This walk is great for reflections and different shutter speeds.

    Who is welcome?
    Everybody!

Even if you have a Point & Shoot or a film camera, are an amateur or Pro. Everybody is welcome.
You will need a tripod, if you don't have one then say so and someone may have a spare for you.

Register your interest here and I will try and send you my mobile num nearer the date.
Mention what camera you have and somebody might bring a spare lens for you to try.

I don't need a poll on this thread. Who ever comes along, comes along - no harm to me, I'm still going on a walk (c:

    Super to see this :)

I have a work thing on that night so I know already I can't be there this time. I'm hoping to get in another night and if I do I'll put up a post in case anyone wants another outing.

Welcome back - you were missed!

Been on one of these before. Will be going on this one.

Where abouts on Georges Quay? I ask as it's usually where people get a few busses, so can be full of people.

We'll all be wearing carnations in our lapels. Or carrying tripods. One or the other. :)

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

On the Liffey side of the road, taking shots of reflections of Custom House while we wait.

Sending my phone number in the next day or two.

Apologies SinisterDexter - I have to cry off this evening's meetup - I've got a family commitment that has just come up. Best of luck with the photography.

My primary reason for going is to have a cigar. I might take a snap or two while I'm there.
