Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Christmas ads

A lot of the Christmas ads are starting to appear on TV now. Thought it would be nice to put them all in one thread so that we can see them all. Just saw the Argos one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qPyHD2NYhA I think the M&S one is due to appear this week so I'm looking forward to seeing that.

Love the guiness ad..it's usually on closer to christmas and up to new years!!

This year i'm loving the john lewis ad (i well up every time) and the debenhams ad, love that foxes song!!

I never care for xmas ads,but whenever I see that upsetting commercial for Focus Ireland,where the homeless are walking the street looking at everybody else enjoying xmas,with the song "I am going home" playing-any time I see that I know I'm not "emotionally dead".

I like the John lewis ad myself but that Focus Ireland ad is like a cold hard slap in the face(in a good way).

This probably belongs over in the adverts you hate thread, but that ad for littlwoods with Caroline morahan where she transports a lady into the future to see her impending crimbo..........Man she is such an annoying person. I remember her one time complaining about how fashion "journalists" werent receiving the same respect as people reporting from war torn Afghanistan.

Completely shows the times we're living in, I saw the Kelloggs Christmas Ad with the little girl on YouTube before I've seen it on the Tele. That and the Coca Cola ad are massive reminders of this time of year for me

I heard the same ad, and considering my radio is on for exactly 5 seconds every time I get in the car (the time it takes me to plug in my iPhone and switch over to Aux), that's some targetted advertising. I was just on my way to Smyths to buy some kids toys.
