I'm not feeling the love tbh! Its all very 'amber'esque. All long silences and thoughtful staring. Pace is very slow.

    - Can't be any worse than Amber! I was happy enough with first episode.

    Decent enough first episode.

The pace is slow but at least they are trying to establish their characters in some way.

I wonder who the mother thinks did it?

Is that the actor who played the Aussie guy from Raw, living in the house by their pool?

I was wondering where i saw him before.

Yes the guy from Raw and I think he was in a Underbelly. The young girl was the latest Pippa (Sally's daughter) in Home & Away.

I enjoyed the 2nd episode -it's not breaking bad but it's watchable.

What about the neigbhour he bumped into in the road while jogging.

I dunno thought that was a bit strange as he has been so isolated .
The sister has been very weird.
The torch showing up again is like someone is framing him.

It bloody annoyed me that he did not finish painting house, get on with it Ffs.

Was it the doctor in the park with the lamp.

    Well spotted I'd say

Always boils my blood when the wives of paedos say nothing and go in with their perfect lives :(

But knowing the show the doc could be innocent

(After Amber I'll never trust a show to answer the all important questions ever again )

Really enjoying this. It's a nice slow burner with the emphasis on character development and story over all else. It's nice to have a mystery that isn't all about snazzy visuals and quick edits.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,693 ✭✭✭Lisha

    Oh what is going on?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,693 ✭✭✭Lisha

Crickey What does that little girl know?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,693 ✭✭✭Lisha

'Here's hoping for closure is right'

I'll lose my tiny mind if it's not properly explained who killed tom and why.

Now we are being made to think did the mother do it to get Ben back.

Ok this better be good! :)

    Now that was good t.v.

Finished it off a week or two back and while I enjoyed it, it did feel like it could have done with losing an episode or two. Far too much time was spent on offering up a new suspect just before the credits rolled only for it to go nowhere and the eventual identity of the killer was a little underwhelming. A more ambiguous ending could have worked far better here as it's all a little convenient how every loose end is tied up

I thought it was good - had me thinking very briefly it was his wife.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,198 ✭✭✭Spon Farmer

    just finished it.

    didn't see that coming.

I was sure it was the wife, Christy.

as said above - that's good TV.

I fully understand that and i did defend Amber on that point at thetime .
It can make for better Telly though when questions are answered. :)
