Hi lads don't know if many have the above aeg, I have had endless problems with the semi issue but I managed to fix it, I have put four full mags trough it switching from semi to auto without a problem, I foun that part number L85017 is a mil or to to long and when the trigger was pulled would not encage semi when I pulled the trigger and pressed on the part in question it worked, I just bent the part a little with a pliers were it is at 90 degrees to the top of the trigger, I hope it helps someone because it was driving me mad for a while. See explosion below for part in question

Solution for under 1J = Trade in for an Ares or ICS L85, also, I'll bring my new one around as soon as for an old test fire ;)

Defenderdude posted up the best solution before, after trying all of the fixes (literally), the best thing to do is leave it in full auto and learn trigger control. That gun just plain dislikes the semi-auto setting, and it's not worth the hassle - just treat it like an AUG.

I found this video which has a great fix for any L85 semi lockups, it seems the little piece you bend acts as a sort of active breaking system and causes all sorts of problems. Removing it seems to fix the problem, all though I still have to get around to trying it on my L85.
