Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You'll need to root the phone. I'm pretty sure you can unroot afterwards though.

You will need to root the S3 first.
It's an easy process with plenty of online guides.... http://reviews.cnet.co.uk/mobile-phones/how-to-root-your-samsung-galaxy-s3-50008588/

That is the rooting guide for an American version of the s3, you need the international version! Galaxy S3 I9300.

Don't bother unrooting, there are lots of things you can do while rooted, installing an adblocker is one. I rooted my SGS3 within an hour for this reason

Do you need a SIM from the locked network in order to unlock?

Hi guys. Just bought this phone on done deal for my Misus but it's locked to 3 network.

I'd really like the phone to be permanently unlocked for her so I'm wondering if the paid unlock codes dotted around the net are legit.

Has anyone unlocked their galaxy s3 using this method??.

    Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the double post guys but I'm in trouble with unlocking this phone.

The links for the vodoo unlocking tool are broken and the app is not available on the google play store.

Is there another similar method for unlocking?

Got the unlock with the methods posted here.

    Thanks guys.

I never updated to the latest firmware before the unlock. Did it add anything important like a battery bug fix or anything like that??.

I'm coming from the apple side of things so I'm unfamiliar with android devices.

If I do upgrade the phone, I'm thinking I probably will lose the unlock but can it be put back on just as easy?. When unlocking iPhones I had to wait for an unlock to come out for the current iOS. Is this the same with Samsung devices??

    Thanks in advance guys.
