Giant Jurassic Fleas Discovered in China
The females were up to 2 cms long, humongous compared to modern day fleas. They probably fed on the blood of dinosaurs, but at least they could jump; they probably moved more like lice.

Not sure if these are the same giant fleas, but a couple species called Pseudopulex jurassicus and Pseudopulex magnus are in the news right now, and the scientists say they had likely a very painful bite.
